It is amazing. All of the chicks appear to be healthy and happy. So am I. Henry, Wesley, Missy and SuSu have named their chicks (Climber, Gummy, Skeeter and Weezy). I will name the last two. If you have any suggestions please let me know. I haven't made a choice for them yet.
Anyways... below are new pictures. I hope you like them!

Their wing feathers are now coming in. At first I thought they had a problem, but after looking closely I could see that they were just losing thier chicky feathers and growing real feathers.
Notice the defined feathers on the end of her wing. Pretty cool.
Baba Yaga for one of them!
ReplyDelete"The Baba Yaga is is a character in Slavic folklore. She flies around on a giant pestle and lives in a hut that stands on chicken legs. In most Slavic folk tales, she is portrayed as an antagonist; however, some characters in other mythological folk stories have been known to seek her out for her wisdom, and she has been known on rare occasions to offer guidance to lost souls. According to Propp, she often fulfills the function of donor; that is, her role is in supplying the hero (sometimes unwillingly) with something necessary for the further quest."
